Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the X-Shred mobile application (the "App"), operated by X-Shred UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G. ("X-Shred", "we", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using X-Shred, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Use of the App

  • You may use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • You agree not to misuse the App, including attempts to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt services.

  • Group and social features are intended for respectful use. Harassment, offensive content, or abuse will not be tolerated.

3. Features and Subscriptions

  • The App offers free features (GPS tracking, statistics, heatmaps, leaderboards, etc.).

  • Premium features (e.g., live location sharing, voice control, offline maps, add-ons) are available through in-app subscriptions.

  • Subscription prices, durations, and terms are displayed in the App Store / Google Play Store.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple or Google account settings.

4. Payments

  • Payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • We do not store or handle your payment details.

  • Once a subscription period begins, fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

5. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. Please review it carefully.

6. Safety Disclaimer

  • Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks. The App is intended as a tool but cannot replace your own judgment, skill, or adherence to safety rules.

  • We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages arising from reliance on GPS data, maps, or other features.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, logos, and code in the App are the property of X-Shred UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G.

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • X-Shred provides the App "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be effective when posted on our website or in the App. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Jurisdiction is the registered office of
X-Shred UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G.
